Ivy is a quick, tactical puzzle game, easy to pick up and tricky to put down.
How to Play
Place your numbered cubes on the grid, building lines to force your opponent into picking up more. Get three in a row and they take a cube, more for them to shift and less for you. Empty your hand before they do to win. Think Connect 4 meets dominoes, with a twist.
Bigger Vines, Bigger Rewards
Build bigger lines and the rewards grow. Five in a row lets you throw a cube away, seven gets rid of two, and every two after that removes another. String together a big enough line and you can clear your hand in one move.
Hundreds of Levels, Growing Hazards
Simple to learn, surprisingly hard to master, with quick levels you can blast through in a spare moment or chain together for hours. As you progress, the challenge builds: water tiles block where you can place, bombs blast cubes clean off the grid, and quicksand slowly swallows anything that lands on it. Finding a path through takes more thought than it first looks.
From Wooden Cubes to Your Phone
Ivy started life as one of the games in the CubeRoots collection, a set of 216 sustainably-produced wooden cubes designed to play a huge variety of games. Now it's on your phone, with the same core idea: a small ruleset, a lot of depth, and no unnecessary clutter.

ABOUT
CubeRoots Digital is a small, two-person team based in the UK bringing their wooden cube games to life on your phone.
Our Story
Back in 2020, while most people were baking banana bread and binge-watching box sets, Eddy decided to design a board game.He had a set of wooden cubes made, started experimenting, and CubeRoots was born. Since then, he's been refining the games, dreaming up new ideas, and somehow persuading the rest of us to spend hours testing them.The physical versions are still being perfected, with a launch hopefully not too far away.A few years later, his friend Simon looked at one of those games, Ivy, and thought, "This would make a great app."There was just one problem: he'd never built a game like this before.Undeterred, Simon spent the next year learning the skills needed to bring it to life, fuelled by late nights, countless tutorials, and plenty of trial and error. The result is CubeRoots Digital.
Meet Ivy
Ivy is the first step. It's Eddy's game, rebuilt for your phone by Simon. It's quick to learn, surprisingly tactical, and difficult to put down, with no wooden cubes (or banana bread) required.
We're just getting started
Ivy is only the first game. There are plenty more waiting in the wings, and we'll be bringing them to life one at a time, staying true to what makes the originals special: simple rules, surprising depth, and absolutely no nonsense.

CubeRoots Ivy displays ads provided by Google AdMob to support its free availability. We have disabled ad personalisation tracking entirely. This means:• We do not use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to request permission to track you across other apps or websites.
• No advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for cross-app tracking or personalised advertising.
• You are never prompted to consent to ad tracking, it is simply not active.Ads shown in the Game are non-personalised. Google may still collect limited technical data in connection with ad delivery, such as device type, operating system, IP address, and ad interaction data (impressions and clicks), for fraud prevention and basic ad serving purposes. CubeRoots Ivy uses TelemetryDeck to understand how the Game is being used and to improve it over time. TelemetryDeck is built around a privacy-by-design model:• All data signals are hashed and cannot be traced back to individual users.
• No personal identifiers, cookies, or user profiles are created.

The data collected by our third-party services is used solely to:• Display advertisements and keep the Game free to play.
